Frequently asked questions
ShiroMeow runs small-group, story-driven walking tours that explore Singapore’s heritage neighbourhoods. Each experience focuses on culture, history, architecture, food, and the everyday life of the communities who shaped the area. The tours are designed to be relaxed, engaging, and immersive — like discovering a neighbourhood with a knowledgeable local.
Our routes involve light to moderate walking, usually 2–3 km over 2 to 2.5 hours, but Singapore’s heat and humidity can make it feel more intense, especially for visitors not used to tropical climates.
We include multiple brief stops for storytelling and shade, but seating is not always available, and most breaks are standing pauses.
To stay comfortable, please come prepared with:
Lightweight, breathable clothing
Comfortable walking shoes
A bottle of water (hydration is essential)
A small towel if you perspire easily
An umbrella/poncho for sudden rain
Sunscreen and optional insect repellent
If you need a slower pace or have heat sensitivity, let us know before the tour — we’ll adjust where possible.
